14th May – 20th May
So, starting with the week just gone, I don’t really have a HUGE amount to report.
However, at the end of the week, one of my sisters and I decided that we would make a pact to go for a walk/jog in the countryside every evening after work. And so far we’ve stuck to it! It’s a great way of making me feel like I’m still being a little bit productive of an evening without stressing about getting too much done. I am trying to get a bit fitter and a bit trimmer too so it’s two-in-one really.
It’s so easy to forget to appreciate the area you live in and, as you can see by the photos, I live in such a perfect place for walks in the countryside. I’m literally surrounded by green land and bridleways.
7th May – 13th May
This week was my first 5 day week since starting my new job (due to bank holidays etc) and I won’t lie, I found it quite tiring. I’m going to bed at like 10/half past every single night and still waking up feeling like I need more sleep *grrr*. I know that I just need to get used to this new routine and then I’ll be fine.
This week we got the pet stroller we ordered for my three-legged dog. He knackers himself on walks so we wanted to get him one so that he can go on longer walks with our other dogs. Tbh he wasn’t the biggest fan of it and tried to jump out once or twice. But hopefully overtime he will get used to it and start ~enjoying~ it.
Finally, on Friday my boss fed us pizza and took us to a wild bluebell woods for a nice walk around. I’ve only ever been to see the bluebells in a garden that is maintained so it was amazing to see them in a random field in the countryside!
