Hi everyone. I hope you all had an amazing Christmas Day. It’s been so nice to relax for a few days but now I’m cracking on again with college work and various other things that I wish to complete. On the 23rd, Lori and I headed to a town near us called Stamford. It was so lovely to wander around and there were loads of cute little independent home shops around, I’ll certainly be back to have a look in all of them in the new year. We found this cute bridge over the river and (as usual) Lori took some awesome outfit photos for me.
This outfit has been my go to recently. The striped tee is from Zara, the scarf is also a Zara purchase and I love that it adds so much depth and colour to a pretty plain outfit.
Jeans are the usual, Topshop Jamie’s. I’ve found these are the best fit for me and they’re so comfortable. The coat is the perfect addition to my wardrobe. It’s from Topshop and I love that it’s quite smart as I’m trying to smarten up my wardrobe a little bit.
I decided to have a play around with this image, I upped the contrast and tone of it and love the vintage feel that was created. I think it suits this beautiful little town perfectly.
Here’s another edit that I thought I’d play around with. I used a technique called colour splash and I’m hoping you like this effect too. I want to be more experimental with my photos in the new year and thought there’s no better time than the present to start playing around with the images.
I have a whole host of posts on their way, a ‘What I got for Christmas 2015’, ‘Boxing day sale haul’ and then loads of new ideas and concepts for the New Year. I’m so excited about 2016 and I think it’s going to be the best year yet. See you soon.
